Funboards are usually from 7 to 8 feet in length, and combine elements of both shortboards and longboards. It is able to catch waves more like a longboard, and manuver in a similar fashion as a shortboard. This design is very popular, especially among beginners, and surfers that are transitioning from longboarding to more difficult surfboarding.
